Originally starting with Commercial Brokers in 1989, Nick became Executive Vice President in 2002.  He works with clients that need to lease and purchase warehouse, office and flex properties in the Metro area and directs corporate operations for Commercial Brokers. 

Nick has represented distinguished clients including United Rentals which is the largest equipment rental company in the world with over $3.5 billion in total revenue in 2005.  He has also represented GEICO Insurance and the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades DC-51 with a complete reorganization of its DC area real estate portfolio. He was retained to ensure that a site for The United States Department of Veterans Affairs landmark Computer Incident Response Center was established in record time. He also represents the world’s largest and most prestigious childhood cancer research organization, the Children’s Oncology Group, and represented the National Childhood Cancer Foundation with its relocation from California to Bethesda Maryland.  He has been hired to settle property disputes by investigating and providing independent opinions of value and has worked on numerous real estate legal matters including a condo association dispute and a $40 million dollar landlord tenant case.

His law enforcement background and knowledge of IT and Physical Security provides unique advantages for his clients.  One client was able to secure a $250+ million dollar Federal Government IT contract after Nick and his associate handled their sensitive real estate requirements in record time; that client has since been listed as the 14th fastest-growing private company in the United States by Inc. Magazine.

Nick's entrepreneurial spirit led him to form numerous businesses over the years.  For his success early on, he received an Entrepreneur of the Year award from Governor Schaeffer and has been featured in and written for numerous publications including: The Washington Business Journal, The Medical Bulletin, The ISCPP Practitioner, The Business Gazette, GlobeStreet.com, The Maryland Daily Record, and Washington Techway Magazine.  Nick has also served on the Board of Directors for an active residential community and has overseen $35+ million dollars worth of residential real estate. He has specialized experience assessing and securing facilities of all types and has attended special sessions with federal agencies including the ATF, FBI and Secret Service. 

He served the community as a Police Officer and attended the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Police Academy.  Nick also enjoys teaching others and is a professional instructor of business development, marketing, sales, and finance for high school students at two of Newsweek Magazines top rated high schools in the country.
